Jupiter
Image of the planet Jupiter
The largest of the gas giants, Jupiter, is a deadly and hostile environment. The planet itself has an atmosphere of seething, noxious and turbulent gasses that exist at pressures able to crush or melt any material known to man.

On the upper levels of the giant, many forms of æther fauna and flora flourish in the light warm gas. Æther fishermen ply the upper canopy collecting and catching the giant's dangerous bounty. Skimmers also distill elements of the valuable veins of heated gas that frequently boil to the surface. These commodities range from fuel to spice to lubricants, which they sell to merchant ætherfarers to distribute throughout the system.

Jupiter's moons support the native and imported population that live and work around this massive planet.

10 notable moons: Amalthea, Himalia, Callisto, Ganymede, Europa, Sinope, Metis, Io, Adrastea, Elara
