Cosmic Spore

Also known as space vermin. These small pods can be encountered almost anywhere in the solar system on asteroids or planetary rings. The spore contains a life form that has super adaptive means to infiltrate ships or installations where they multiply and cause general havoc with engineering and electrical systems not to mention any inhabitants. Cosmic spore are highly susceptible to the lethal effects of delta radiation.
