Astro Shark
A species of ætherfauna, which patrols planetary orbits and asteroid fields. This semi-mechanical interplanetary predator could not have evolved independently but is assumed to been an alien construction for possible Defense or orbital debris disposal. These creatures will attack almost anything with an active energy signature. They reproduce by an unknown form of nanite recomposition.
They are frequently found around planets feeding on other forms of Æther fauna. Astro Sharks are the main reason for the impracticallity of unmanned or small planetary probes or satellites.
