Where Steampunk and Star Trek become one. Commodore A.R. Maxby K.C.M.G. of Æther Fleet Command invites all of you to peruse the site where you can find all manner of Steam-Trek background and information.
The universe of Steam Trek tries to create a vision of a fictional future using the palette of Victorian Steampunk applied to the canvas of the Star Trek universe.
Imagine the possibilities:
- Lt. Bromhead of the Royal Æther Marines defends a remote outpost against the hostile native aliens.
- Captain Ahab of the Æther Whaling ship Pequod pursues a great white Æther Whale around the rings of Saturn.
- Young Frederick, once indentured to a band of infamous æther pirates, now devotes his life to his former shipmate's extermination with the help of Major General Stanley of Æther Fleet Command.
- G'hatma Mangi, is a Vulkan reformer working to free exploited Martians from British controlled Mars.
- Ensign Jack Worthing met Lt. Gwendylon Cardue at Æther base 9 but under the assumed name of Earnest.
- A doctor working in the asteroid belt is attempting to speed the evolutionary process to transform bug-eyed aliens into civilized creatures or at least as far up the evolutionary scale as Irishmen or the Welsh.
To those special few who would care to contribute to the Steam-Trek universe and explore the solar system aboard the HMS Dauntless, I present this special invitation to audition to become one of the lucky few who will conquer the æther in the name of her Majesty, Queen Victoria. May she reign forever.
