Tholos is a newly discovered planetoid between the orbit of Mercury and
the Sun. It is the home planet of the Tholions a race of life forms
that thrive in an environment of 1500° Fahrenheit. The Tholions are a
technological race that has achieved interplanetary travel but do to
their enigmatic attitude. There has been little contact with them.
Normally the Tholions do not venture far
from the sun but on rare occasions their Ships have been observe as
rimward as Neptune.
An executive assembly controls the central
government of Tholos. This assembly has established a non-interference
treaty with the Ukp. The provisions of the treaty generally state that
the Tholions will ignore the UKP and expects the same in return.
It has
been discovered that the Tholions do occupy a base on the hot side of
Mercury. Tholos has an atmosphere of plasma gas and a surface of semi
molten rock with oceans of metals and mountains of ceramic and crystal.
No human has ever set foot on Tholos for obvious reasons.
