Tethys is home of the
Elphans a very human like race and member of the
federation. Elphans have seen the comings and going of the recent human
and alien waves to and from the system but have remained largely
indifferent about the situations. Elphans do not posses the levels of
passions abundant in their human cousins. Tethys has a temperate
climate over its entire surface. Much of the wilderness has remained
relatively wild. Many exotic woods thrive on Tethys and some are traded
for their inherent value to sculptors and artisans. A Federation
outpost has been allowed on Tethys as well as a British trading &
communications post.
