Miranda was formerly occupied by the Bajaarans but now is in the hands of the
Cartassian occupational forces from Larissa. During Bajaaran residence the
planet was more like a vast religious enclave but with the coming of the
Cartassian the planet now resembles a military work camp. When the Cartassians
reclaimed Miranda the Bajaarans waited until the last seconds to put up any
resistance. The war lasted 6 long years and a million Bajaarans lost their
lives. Many escaped to Enceladus orbiting Saturn and during the last 40 years
many more have made it off Miranda to the relative safety of Enceladus. The
Bajaarans have vowed to return to liberate Miranda but the operation is
effectively still a dream. |
