The Æther leviathan is an enormous form of ærofauna that inhabits the Asteroid Belt. It preys mainly on æther whales and other large æther born life forms as they pass through the belt on their migratory routes. The leviathan uses effective camouflage to pass itself off as an asteroidal body floating amongst the usual debris. It attracts its prey with a signal emitter located on the end of long antenna like appendages. The emitter displays patterns of bright light as well as gravimetric and electronic impulses that lure there prey close enough to their gapping maw to swallow them whole.
