Solar Kracken
One of the greatest dangers of the Æther is the solar kracken. The enormous
cone shaped creature has a maw that holds a self sustaining fusion reaction. It
feeds on Ships and other æther fauna by reaching out with its multiple tractor
beam tentacles, which can project many miles. When a Ship is caught in these
coils the creature draws The Ship to it's maw and excinerates it completely.
The kracken is the only creature known that uses a natural fuligen cloak when
hunting. Ships are safe as long as they are moving a ætheric speeds. |
