Excinerative Reaction
An excinerative reaction is one in which more energy is released than can be accounted for using the matter to energy equations for normal space. The energy output is possible due to the reaction pulling additional energy from the sub-æther.
Excinerative reactors, better known as the Core in shipwright's Terms power all of Æther Fleet Command's capitol Ships. Most alien species have refrained fromthe use of excinerative reactors as it is a recent technology and the long term effects are as yet unknown. |
